Fantasy Wrestling Rule Book
General
- Win
- Win a match 20 points.
- Team Win
- Be on the winning team in a team match (i.e. tag team, multi-man tag team match) 20 points.
- Squash Match Win
- Win a match against an “indie/local/unnamed” wrestler who is not on the roster and is not a celebrity guest. 10 points.
- Gauntlet Pinfall
- Get a pinfall during a Gauntlet Match. 10 points.
- DQ
- Win a match via countout or disqualification 10 points.
- Draw
- No winner declared/No contest 5 points.
Bonus Points
- Accompany To The Ring
- 2 points. Accompany another wrestler to the ring. Must be out there during an official match.
- Ambulance Ride
- 50 points. The wrestler must receive Strapped to a Stretcher Bonus first to receive an Ambulance Ride Bonus. Points are awarded when the stretcher touches the ambulance.
- Attack
- 5 points. Attack another wrestler. During a match, non-participants will be given interference points instead. The attacker must physically hit or knock down the attacked. Holds are an attack. Shoving does not count unless it knocks them down. This rule does not stack. Once Per Segment.
- Backstage Beatdown
- 10 points. Beatdown ANYONE backstage. This includes off-site shoots. The wrestler still standing will receive the Beatdown points.
- Chair Shot
- 2 points. Hit ANYBODY with a chair. Not awarded during a match where chairs are legal (such as a TLC match or any type of no DQ match). Stacks to 5.
- Championship Belt Attack
- 4 points. Hitting someone with any championship belt. Stacks 5 times.
- Cheap Pops
- 3 points. When a wrestler says the city, state, arena or local sports team to get a cheap pop. Cheers and Boos count. Once per segment.
- Cheatacular
- 10 points. Hit an opponent more than 5 times with a chair, title belt, or any other foreign object. 5 chair shot, Belt Attack, or Foreign Object points must be awarded first. This rule does not stack.
- Classic Promo
- 8 points. A Classic Promo is when a wrestler is on the way to the ring and a separate window pops up and that same wrestler is speaking in the video. Classic Old School Wrestling.
- Contract Signing
- 10 points. Participate in a contract signing event as a superstar whose name is on the contract. You don't need to be shown physically signing the paper and if it's a tag match, all members of the team will be awarded this.
- Deez Nuts
- 3 points. Hitting another wrestler with a low blow to the groin that causes damage.
- Drop The Belt
- 75 points. Giving up the belt. Leaving the belt in the middle of the ring and vacating the championship. Giving the belt up to a Owner, Commissioner or General Manager.
- Ejected!
- 10 points. Be ejected from ringside by an official during a match.
- Eliminator
- 4 points. Eliminate a wrestler or tag team in an elimination style match. Only the person performing the pin, submission, or over the top elimination will receive points. Stipulation and normal points will still be applied for the actual winner of the match.
- Eliminator Team Up
- 2 points. Same as eliminator. This rule is for more than 1 wrestler performing an elimination. This rule is for Battle Royals, but could come into effect in other match types.
- Enforcer
- 10 points. Be an enforcer during an official match.
- Fade to Black
- 4 points. When you are shown during the fade to black on the Dynamite or an AEW PPV.
- Fighting In The Crowd
- 5 points. Bring the fight into the AEW Crowd. Both wrestlers will be awarded points. Both wrestlers must be in the crowd and do some action (hold/strike/slam) while in the crowd.
- Foreign Object
- 3 points. Hit anyone with a foreign object. A foreign object can be anything not listed in other categories. Must not be a legal object in the match (a ladder doesn't count in a ladder match). This rule stacks 5 times. On the 6th hit, you receive Cheatacular Bonus.
- Guest Commentator
- 5 points. Put on a Commentator Headset and speak into the microphone.
- Hallway Walking
- 2 points. Walking down a hallway backstage on the way to the ring or to a commercial. Can be interrupted by other rules and canceled out. Only valid if there is no interaction or voice and the camera cuts away. Typically this happens right before there is a cut to commercial.
- Interference
- 3 points. Coming in contact with the referee and/or whoever is involved with the match. Handing a wrestler an object or removing a legal object from their reach. One foot on the apron during a match counts. Once per match, per interferer. If they are part of the match (like a lumberjack) they don't get interference points.
- Interview
- 5 points. Complete an interview during a LIVE show Dynamite or an AEW PPV with an official AEW Interviewer, without being interrupted by anyone. An interview is when one wrestler or a team of wrestlers are being interviewed. No microphone, no points. Live interviews only.
- Interview Interference
- 2 points. Interrupt another Wrestler's interview. Wrestlers will not get Interview points if they get interrupted.
- Kayfabe
- 3 points. A scene backstage where wrestlers interact during a skit in character. Must be during LIVE television. There must be some indication that it is LIVE or cut to LIVE. Once per segment. Interviews will not count as Kayfabe. We are looking for segments that only involve wrestlers interacting with each other or talking directly to the camera.
- Looking On ...
- 5 points. Watching a live match on TV while backstage. Looking on from a Skybox, home, or hotel will also count.
- Microphone Master
- 2 points. Hold a microphone and speak into it or speak into a podium/standing microphone. Headset microphones also count.
- Multiple Attack
- 10 points. Attack 3 or more people during any segment.
- Non-AEW Title Defense
- 5 points. Defend a championship that is not from AEW. Triple AAA, Ring Of Honor, NJPW, or any brand that may appear on AEW.
- Non-AEW Title Win
- 10 points. Win a championship that is not from AEW. Triple AAA, Ring Of Honor, NJPW, or any brand that may appear on AEW.
- Season Finale Fade To Black
- 10 points. The wrestler that gets the final Fade To Black of the season.
- Season Opener
- 10 points. The first wrestler shown on live television during the season opening scored program.
- Show Opener
- 3 points. The first wrestler from the DropTheBelt roster seen LIVE on the show.
- Slammed On A Car
- 25 points. When a wrestler performs a move on a car/truck. All 4 feet must be on the car at the start of the move and the affected wrestler must hit the car/truck. Throwing someone from the ground onto a car or smacking them with a piece of the car does not count.
- Special Guest Referee
- 10 points. Appear as the special guest referee in an official match.
- Steel Stairs
- 2 points. When a wrestler uses the Steel Stairs to cause damage to another wrestler. Stacks to 5. Once Per Segment.
- Strapped To A Stretcher
- 25 points. Injure another wrestler, so that they must be taken out on a stretcher. The injured wrestler must be actually strapped into the stretcher. This rule opens up the Ambulance Ride Bonus.
- Table Shot
- 10 points. Put ANYBODY through a table at any time. Not awarded during a match where tables are legal.
- Through The Announcer Table
- 15 points. Putting ANYBODY through the Announcer Table at any time.
- Unification
- 25 points. Defend your belt while winning another. BOTH titles must be on the line in a unification or undisputed champion type match.
Stipulations
- 2 Out Of 3 Falls
- 15 points. Win a 2 Out Of 3 Falls match.
- Anarchy
- 15 points. Win an Anarchy match. A match usually involving no rules. Only some bonus points are scored during this match.
- Anything Goes
- 15 points. Win an Anything Goes match. A match where anything can happen.
- Battle Royal
- 10 points. Win a Battle Royal.
- Best of Series
- 5 points. Win a match in a 'Best of Series' match series.
- Big Money
- 10 points. Win a Big Money match.
- Blood & Guts
- 20 points. Win a Blood & Guts match.
- Bullrope
- 10 points. Win a Bullrope match. The match is default No DQ. You win via pinfall or submission. Both wrestlers are bound together by a thick cattle rope with a cowbell in the center.
- Bunkhouse
- 10 points. Win a Bunkhouse match.
- Champion vs Champion
- 10 points. Win a Champion VS Champion Match.
- Coffin Match
- 15 points. Win a coffin match. Place your opponent in a coffin/casket and close it.
- Death Match
- 15 points. Win a Death Match. Pin your opponent, the pinned opponent must stay down for a 10 count to lose.
- Dog Collar
- 10 points. Win a Dog Collar match. A Dog Collar match is when both opponents have a dog collar around their neck and chain connecting them together. You win by pinfall of submission.
- Dynamite Diamond Ring
- 20 points. Win the Dynamite Diamond Ring match.
- Eliminator
- 5 points. Win an Eliminator match.
- Elite Deletion
- 10 points. Win am Elite Deletion match.
- Exploding Barbed Wire
- 25 points. Win an Exploding Barbed Wire match.
- Falls Count Anywhere
- 10 points. Win a Falls Count Anywhere match.
- Fatal 4-way
- 10 points. Win a Fatal 4-way match.
- Guest Referee
- 5 points. Win a match with a guest referee.
- Hair VS Hair
- 15 points. Win a Hair VS Hair match. The loser of the match must shave their head. Similar matches like Hair VS Mash, etc. will also count under this stipulation.
- Handicap
- 10 points. Win a Handicap match. The match must start and end as a handicap match. Or the match must be clearly designated by a GM as a handicap match.
- Hardcore
- 10 points. Win a Hardcore match.
- I Quit
- 15 points. Win an I Quit match.
- Iron Man
- 20 points.
- Last Wrestler Standing
- 10 points. Win a Last Man/Woman Standing match.
- Lights Out
- 20 points. Win an Lights Out match.
- Lumberjack
- 5 points. Win a Lumberjack match. A match where other wrestlers line the outside of the ring. Interference does not count during this match.
- Mixed Tag Team
- 5 points. Win a mixed tag team match.
- MMA Rules Cage Match
- 10 points. Win a MMA Rules Cage Match. Competitors face off in an MMA style cage fight. Win by knockout, submission or T.K.O.
- Multiman Tag Team
- 2 points. Win a Tag Team match consisting of more than 4 wrestlers. (6-man, 8-man, etc.)
- Mystery Opponent
- 5 points. Win a math with a Mystery Opponent involved. A match where one of the opponents is unknown to the wrestler.
- No DQ
- 10 points. Win a no DQ match.
- No Holds Barred
- 15 points. Win a No Holds Barred match.
- No Rules
- 10 points. Win a No Rules match. There are no rules during this match. Anything can happen.
- Number 1 Contender
- 10 points. Win a Number 1 Contenders match.
- Open Challenge
- 5 points. Win an Open Challenge Match.
- Other
- 2 points. A stipulation match that does not appear on our list of stipulation matches.
- Owen Hart Championship
- 15 points. Win the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
- Qualifier
- 5 points. Win a Qualifier match. A match that leads to another match after you win it.
- Retirement
- 20 points. Win a retirement match. The loser of the match will retire.
- Round Robin
- 5 points. Win a match in a Round Robin. Used during the Continental Tournament and other tournaments with a Round Robin phase.
- Stadium Stampede
- 20 points. Win a Stadium Stampede match. Includes Anarchy in the Arena.
- Steel Cage
- 10 points. Win a Steel Cage match.
- Strap Match
- 5 points. Win a Strap Match. A match where the two participants are tied together with a leather strap.
- Street Fight
- 15 points. Win a Street Fight match.
- Submission
- 10 points. Win a Submission match.
- Tables, Ladders OR Chairs
- 25 points. Win any match involving Tables, Ladders OR Chairs.
- Tornado Tag
- 15 points. Win a Tornado Tag match.
- Tournament
- 10 points. Win a Tournament match.
- Triple Threat
- 10 points. Win a Triple Threat match.
- Unsanctioned
- 20 points. Win an Unsanctioned match.

- Currently held by Toni Storm. 50 points for winning, 25 points for defending.

Special Rules & Glossary
- Final Match Results
- All final results will be based on the official website. Bonus Points may be reviewed via video on the official website, a replay of the PLE, or the official YouTube channel. When a match is restarted, stopped or a decision is reversed, the points will be based on the latest outcome of the match.
- Bell-to-Bell
- Specific points can only be scored during a match. From the moment the bell rings to begin the match until the moment it rings again to end the match.
- Once Per Segment
- DtB segments consist of. Before a match. During a match. After a match. Going to commercials ends a segment (except during a match). It will be a new segment when the show returns LIVE.
- Multiple stipulations
- The stipulation with the highest point value will be applied to the match. Only 1 stipulation per match.
- Previously Earlier
- Recorded footage is not scored. Clips that are shown to have happened "During the Commercial Break" will not count as LIVE television. Clips with obvious camera cuts and special effects will not count. All points must be scored LIVE.
- 5 Man Rule
- When 5 or more wrestlers qualify for a bonus at the same time, the bonus is a wash. For example, when 5 wrestlers score an Attack point in the same moment, no Attack points are awarded.
